Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch having improved detection accuracy and capable of suppressing erroneous detection when detecting a label stuck to a workpiece, a component assembled to the workpiece, and a register mark printed on a sheet-like member, and the like.SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch comprises: first projecting means for projecting detection light 2a corresponding to two or more specific wavelengths toward a first detection region; second projecting means for projecting detection light 2b corresponding to two or more specific wavelengths toward a second detection region; light-receiving means for receiving reflected light 3 from the first detection region and generating a first light-receiving signal, and receiving the reflected light 3 from the second detection region and generating a second light-receiving signal; a housing 10 for housing the first projecting means, the second projecting means, and the light-receiving means; and detection signal generating means for determining a workpiece on the basis of at least one specific wavelength component of the first light-receiving signal and the second light-receiving signal, and generating a detection signal on the basis of the workpiece determination results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
