Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch for suppressing a decrease in discrimination sensitivity of color.SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch comprises: light projection means for projecting detection light DL toward a detection area; light reception means for receiving reflection light RL from the detection area and converting the light to a light reception signal; correction instruction reception means for receiving a correction instruction; amount-of-return-light acquisition means for acquiring a reception light signal according to a correction instruction and designating the amount of reception light for each specific wavelength as the amount of return light; return light correction means for correcting a reception light signal based on the amount of return light; color information acquisition means for acquiring color information by comparing the amount of reception light of at least two specific wavelengths, based on a light reception signal after correction by the return light correction means; reference color intake instruction reception means for receiving a reference light intake instruction; reference color acquisition means for designating color information acquired according to the reference color intake instruction as a reference color; degree-of-coincidence calculation means for obtaining a degree of coincidence by comparing successively acquired color information with a reference color; and detection signal output means for performing work determination by comparing the degree of coincidence with a determination threshold and outputting a detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
