An optometer having an eye refractivity measuring unit with a pair of right and left lens chamber units for switching and arranging an optical element to an inspection window, and displaying an optotype to a subject eye looking into an inspection window, includes: a concave mirror arranged on a reference axis set such that a subject eye sees the optotype displayed at the front; a display for displaying the optotype; an optotype presentation unit which reflects an optotype light flux from the display with the concave mirror and displays the optotype to the subject eye; and support means which supports the eye refractivity measuring unit movably between an inspection position in front of the subject eye and a retreat position, and is provided at the optotype presentation unit.
