To provide an oral administration composition satisfying both of a sufficient sugar absorption inhibitory effect and the reduction of the symptoms of an abdominal bloating feeling, meteorism and increased flatus, and to provide the oral composition reducing the following symptoms, since there are cases showing the symptoms of the abdominal bloating feeling, meteorism and the increased flatus on taking the composition containing a plant belonging to the genus Salacia depending on constitution, and it is considered to be caused by gases formed by the decomposition and fermentation of the carbohydrates by intestinal bacteria, because by the sugar absorption inhibitory action of the plant belonging to the genus Salacia, un-digested carbohydrates reach to large intestine.
This oral administration composition is provided by containing an extract of the plant belonging to the genus Salacia and a degasifying agent, and preferably containing 1 kind selected from the group consisting of a defoaming agent as the degasifying agent, digestive enzyme, plant extract, pigment and gas-adsorption agent.
