Abstract:
To provide an oral care composition, a pharmaceutical product of which is taken in a mouth to dissolve or disintegrate, inactivating the intraoral SARS-CoV-2 virus (novel coronavirus).SOLUTION: In one embodiment of oral care compositions, one tablet contains (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG; EGCg) with a purity of 95 wt.% or more of 5-15 mg, green tea powder of 50-400 mg, and a carbohydrate sweetener excluding sucrose and fructose of 300-1500 mg. Optionally, it further contains a non-carbohydrate sweetener of 5-30 mg and/or an emulsifier for food of 5-30 mg. In another embodiment of the oral care compositions, one capsule contains (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) with a purity of 95 wt.% or more of 70-150 mg, and powdery excipient of 50-200 mg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
