PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral formulation containing Punica granatum L. extract, Panax ginseng extract, and c.sinensis.SOLUTION: An oral formulation as described herein can comprise Punica granatum L. extract, Panax ginseng extract, and c.sinensis, where each is present in an amount effective to counteract and/or prevent effects of aging in a subject when administered to the subject. The effects of aging can include age-related changes in gene expression. A method for counteracting effects of aging in a subject comprises administering an effective amount of oral formulation containing Punica granatum L. extract, Panax ginseng extract, and c.sinensis to the subject. In an aspect of the method, administration of an effective amount of formulation is more effective to counteract the effects in the subject than administering the same amount of any one of Punica granatum L. extract, Panax ginseng extract, and c.sinensis.SELECTED DRAWING: None
