PURPOSE: To improve customers satisfaction relating to additional orders and to reduce the burdeb of a person in charge of customers by providing a numerical symbol conversion data storage means and a numerical symbol conversion control means and making a printer for issuing a slip capable of issuing a customer slip for which a menu amount is printed by a numerically expressed symbol.

CONSTITUTION: When the person in charge of the customers inputs order data by using a handy type terminal 10A, slip printing data edited based on the order data are prepared. Then, the numerical symbol conversion control means 51 retrieves the numerical symbol conversion data storage means 52 and converts the menu amount in the slip printing data into the numerically expressed symbol. In such a manner, the printer 50 for issuing the slip issues the customer slip in which the menu amount is printed by the converted numerically expressed symbol and the others are printed by normal characters and numerals. Thus, since the menu amount of the customer slip is printed by the numerically expressed symbol expressed by a straight line, the menu amount of the additional order is easily manually added.
