Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a communication fault in an order wire communication system at an early stage.
SOLUTION: An order wire communication system in which order wire communications are made between a plurality of transmission devices 21-26 is provided with a connection monitoring sections 21A and 26A, for making each of the devices 21 and 26 on both end of the system call each of the other devices 22-25 other than the devices on both ends by DTMF(Dual Tone multi- frequency) signals of intrinsic numbers, and transmitting a DTMF signal of a fault monitoring number and a voice signal for testing periodically; and responding section 22B-25B for giving a reply of reception to the sections 21A and 26A upon receiving the DTMF signal of the fault monitoring number, and transmitting a DTMF signal for determining whether or not voice reproduction of the voice signal for testing are normally performed.
