PURPOSE: To provide an ore feeding control method, using a grinding noise from a mill grinder, which enables an automatic control by stabilizing an ore feed amount without allowing an idling or an overloaded operation to occur in a mill grinder.

CONSTITUTION: Each signal is detected through a first signal detector 4 equipped with a band filter (a) which detects the colliding noise of a grinding ball on a mill grinder, from an output of a mill crushing noise monitored by a microphone 1 and converted to an electric signal and amplified by a conversion amplifier 2, and a second signal detector 5 equipped with a band filter (b) of a broader specified band than the band of the filter (a) inclusive. Further, the ore feeding quantity is controlled using a controller 3 so that the ratio of both signals obtained by a ratio calculator 6 falls within a specified range.
