Abstract:
To provide a processing method of ore which is capable of effectively removing calcium in ore.SOLUTION: A method for processing ore containing copper and calcium includes: a leaching process of leaching copper and calcium in the ore into acid solution containing copper ion, iron ion and halide ion to obtain post-leaching liquid containing the copper ion, calcium ion and sulfuric acid ion; and an oxidation process of oxidizing copper ion in the post-leaching liquid. In the oxidation process, the temperature of post-leaching liquid during oxidation is set to 0°C to 60°C, and calcium ion in the post-leaching liquid is precipitated as calcium sulfate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
