Title:
ORE RECEIVING IRONWARE FOR BLAST FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03202411
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the replacement of the ore receiving ironware and to prolong its service life by fixing the wares to the shell at specified intervals through a fixture and filling a monolithic refractory between the ware and the shell so that a cooling pipe is embedded.

CONSTITUTION: One end of the fixture 11 is fixed to the shell 1, and the other end is engaged with the engaging part 14 of the ore receiving ironware 3 through a bolt, etc., to support the ware 3. At this time, the interval between the shell 1 and the ware 3 is controlled to 70-200mm, and a monolithic refractory 5 is filled in the gap to embed the annular cooling pipe 13. Since the ware 3 is thus provided at the throat of a blast furnace, the worn ware is easily replaced, and its service life is prolonged.
