Abstract:
To advantageously eliminate or reduce the problem of so-called "stain", in which the hardened casting sand composition is stuck on the surface of a casting mold, while securing an excellent strength of the casting mold when making a phenol urethane fase casting mold.
The organic bonding agent to be used for making a phenol urethane base gas curing casting mold or a self-curing casting mold includes a condensation product of an unsaturated fatty acid having an alcoholic hydroxyl group together with a phenol resin, a polyisocyanate compound, and an organic solvent, as indispensable components.
