A plurality of the small EL substrates 1a and 1b with the organic EL elements R, G and B and the driving elements 123 formed are connected in the surface direction thereof and formed on the large EL substrate. For at least one kind of wiring patterns 103 out of wiring patterns of the driving elements 123 respectively formed on the small EL substrates 1a and 1b, the corresponding wiring patterns between the connected small EL substrates are electrically connected to each other by a conductive material 6.
