Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of emitting white color without accompanying the rise of drive voltage.
SOLUTION: The organic EL device comprises a substrate, a reflecting electrode, and a plurality of layers composed of an organic EL layer and a transparent electrode laminated on the reflecting electrode. The reflecting electrode contacts with one of the organic EL layers and each of organic EL layers emits a light of different color, and the reflecting electrode and the transparent electrodes in even-numbered order counted from the reflecting electrode side have an identical polarity and the transparent electrodes in odd-numbered order counted from the reflecting electrode side have reverse polarity.
