To provide an organic EL display device having a simple structure relative to a conventional one, and capable of enhancing extraction of luminescence of respective colors such as red, green and blue in a manufacturing process.
This organic EL display device is provided, in the order from a substrate 1 side, with: a first electrode 16 comprising a reflective layer 4 and a transparent conductive layer 5; a first EL layer 7 including a first luminescent layer; a second EL layer 9 including a second luminescent layer; a semi-reflective layer 10; a second transparent conductive layer 11; a third EL layer 12 including a third luminescent layer; a second electrode 13; and a color filter 15. The respective layers from the first EL layer 7 to the third EL layer 12 are formed in common by extending across a plurality of light emitting elements; the optical distances between the luminescent positions of the first luminescent layer and the second luminescent layer and the reflective layer 4, and those between the luminescent positions and the semi-reflective layer 10 are set to mutually intensify the respective luminescent colors by interference; and the optical distance between the luminescent position of the third luminescent layer and the semi-reflective layer 10 is set to mutually intensify the third luminescent colors by interference.
