To provide an organic EL display panel easily installed in an apparatus while having a long life, a good yield, and a low cost, even when inexpensive and inaccurate positioning device and mask are used.

An organic EL substrate 12 has an organic EL element including sequentially: transparent electrodes 25 formed in a stripe shape; an insulating film 26 demarcating the light emitting region of each pixel; an reflection electrode barrier rib 27 formed perpendicular to the transparent electrodes 25; an organic EL layer 28 separated from the reflection electrode barrier; and a reflection electrode 29. The organic EL display panel is configured such that the organic EL substrate and a sealing substrate 13 are pasted together through a bonded part 14 with the reflection electrode barrier 27 used as a spacer. The sealing substrate 13 has a counterbore part 16 in the inside of the bonded part 14, and the reflection electrode barrier rib 27 has an auxiliary barrier rib part 27A perpendicularly connecting between the adjoining barrier ribs 27 at an inner position of the end part 16 of the counterbore part 16a in the outside of the electrical connection part 20 of the reflection electrode 29 and external wiring 18.
