Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROCONDUCTIVE POLYMER AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59202206
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce an organic electroconductive material having a high electrical conductivity and possibility of actual use, by doping a butadiynyl copper- coordinated high-molecular compound with an electron-accepting or an electron- donating compound.

CONSTITUTION: Butadiyne is fed into a solution containing cupurous ions in an atmosphere of an inert gas to form a butadiynyl copper-coordinated high-molecular compound. The obtained butadiynyl copper-coordinated high-molecular compound is doped with an electron-accepting or/and an electron-donating compound. The butadiyne used is a gas obtained by decomposing 2,7-dimethyl-3,5-octadiyne- 2,7-diol with alkali in a xylene solution under refluxing at the boiling point or the gas stored at -30°C. The obtained organic electroconductive material has an increased electrical conductivity of 10-4W102S/cm.
