Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art to properly arrange a filling material between an element substrate and an encapsulation substrate; and reduce poor filling of an organic EL display device.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescence display device manufacturing method comprises: an application process of applying a filling material to an encapsulation substrate arranged opposite to an element substrate having a pixel region where an organic electroluminescence element is formed and a peripheral region of the pixel region within a range up to the pixel region and the peripheral region: and a process of overlapping the element substrate and the encapsulation substrate each other with the filling material between the element substrate and the encapsulation substrate so as to harden the filling material. The application process is performed by discharging droplets of the filling material.
