Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a capping layer formed from a material which is high in refraction index and superior in thin film stability and endurance and which has no absorption in any of blue, green and red wavelength regions in order to improve the characteristics of an organic electroluminescent element, especially largely improve the light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element comprises at least an anode electrode, a hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer, an electron transport layer, a cathode electrode and a capping layer in this order. The capping layer includes an arylamine compound expressed by the general formula (1) below.SELECTED DRAWING: None
