Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE WITH HIGH THERMAL STABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3833742
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an org. electroluminescent device with an improved thermal stability by using a hole transport layer contg. a specific arom. polyamine having a glass transition point of 100°C or higher.
SOLUTION: In the org. electroluminescent device having an anode, a cathode, and an electroluminescent element held between the anode and cathode, the element has at least one hole transport layer contg. an arom. polyamine which has a glass transition point (Tg) of 100°C or higher and has a poly-substituted anilinobenzene molecular structure having 3 or more amine parts bonded to a single molecule, an example being represented by the formula (wherein R1 and R2 are each an alkyl or optionally substd. aryl; R is H, an alkyl, or optionally substd. phenyl; and n is 3-6).
