Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element excellent in luminous efficiency and durability.SOLUTION: The organic EL element includes a layer containing an organic compound represented by general formula (A) between a light-emitting layer and a cathode. The light-emitting layer contains an electron transport material and a hole transport material. One of the electron transport material and the hole transport material is a light-emitting material. A concentration of the hole transport material in the light-emitting layer is reduced from an anode toward the cathode.
