An organic electroluminescent element in which an organic light-emitting medium layer containing (A) a specific arylamine compound, and (B) at least one kind of compound selected from among a specific anthracene derivative, a spirofluorene derivative, a condensed ring-containing compound, or a metal complex compound is constituted by being sandwiched between a pair of electrodes; and an organic light-emitting medium containing the components (A) and (B) is provided.
