Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element can improve degradation of element characteristics of the organic electroluminescent element brought about by film-forming or preservation under an environment including much humidity in the manufacturing process.

The method is provided for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element having a first electrode, an organic layer, and a second electrode in this order and includes a preservation process to preserve the organic layer for 30 minutes and 400 days and a heating process to carry out heat treatment of the organic layer.
