To provide a new compound having high luminous efficiency, excellent heat resistance, long life and good color purity and emitting to blue color and an organic EL element utilizing the compound.
The new compound is represented by formula [1'] (wherein R1 to R 8 are each H, a 5-30C monocyclic group or a 10-30C condensed polycyclic group; R9 to R10 are each a phenyl group; Ar3 to Ar4 are each a phenyl group which may be a substituent group; m and n are each an integer of 1-3, excepting when m is n). In the organic EL element forming an organic compound thin film having a luminous layer or a plurality of layers containing the luminous layer between a pair of electrodes, at least one layer of the organic compound thin film contains the new compound.
