Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an organic electrolyte cell of high reliability, for which good sealing characteristic is maintained in a wide range of temperature, and leakage of electrolyte is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: In an organic electrolyte cell provided with a metallic cell case 1 which contains a generating element 2, a metallic sealing plate 7, and an insulating gasket 8 set in a gap between the opening of the cell case 1 and the peripheral part of the sealing plate 7, to seal the members airtight, the insulating gasket 8 is formed of resin in which bis(p-ethylbenzylidene) sorbitol is added to polypropylene.
