To provide an organic ferroelectric material having a high dielectric constant at the vicinity of room temperature and high polarization at ferroelectric phase and superior insulation, and which is stable in the atmosphere and thermally, in which the phase transition temperature by far lower than room temperature is improved and the property at room temperature is improved, that is, by raising efficiently the phase transition temperature up to the vicinity of room temperature or more, while maintaining the above superior property, the dielectric response or ferroelectric characteristics at normal temperatures and normal pressures are remarkably improved.
The organic ferroelectric material in which two kinds or more of organic molecules form hydrogen bonding and the hydrogen atoms participating in the hydrogen bonding are substituted by heavy hydrogen is provided.
