This organic and inorganic composite material is provided by dispersing inorganic fine particles having a 1 to 15 nm number-average particle diameter in a thermoplastic resin having at least one unit structure expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, X is H, a substituted or a non-substituted alkyl, or a substituted or a non-substituted aryl].
