Abstract:

To provide composite microparticles that comprise an organic substance and a metal having exceptional adhesiveness to a substrate, allowing easier control over metallic particle dispersion, facilitating control over electrical conductivity, and exhibiting high electrical conductivity, and to provide a method for manufacturing the composite microparticles.

The metallic microparticles have a thiol compound coordinated on the surfaces thereof, and are adsorbed onto a substrate with a silane compound interposed therebetween, and the thiol compound on the surface is subjected to oxidative polymerization, and thereby yielding a structure in which a conductive polymer 503 is coordination-bonded to the surface of the metallic microparticles 502.
