Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification apparatus for an organic material enabling the partial gasification and decomposition of organic materials such as heavy oil, bottom oil and plastics, forming an entrained bed capable of prolonging the residence time of a raw material in the reaction zone without lowering the reaction temperature and the concentration of the synthesis gas, enabling a smooth reaction and producing a gasified gas useful as an industrial fuel, methanol synthesis raw material, etc. SOLUTION: A gasified gas 20 produced in a gasification apparatus is mixed with steam 62 or a mixture of steam 62 and a combustion supporting gas and the obtained mixed gas is used as a spouting gas for a gasification furnace 1 (in the case of a two-stage gasification furnace, the spouting gas for the 1st-stage gasification furnace). The spouting gas is blown by an ejector 10 using steam 62 necessary for the gasification reaction or a mixture of steam 62 and a combustion supporting gas as a driving gas.
