NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are 1W4C alkyl; R3 is 1W6C alkyl or 3W6C cycloalkyl; X and Y are O or S; Z is H or halogen; n is 0W2).
EXAMPLE: O,O-dimethyl-O-(2-fluoro-4-methylthiophenyl)phosphorothioate.
USE: An insecticidal, miticidal and nematocidal agent effective even to vermin resistant to organic phosphate-type insecticide.
PREPARATION: The objective compound can be produced e.g. by reacting the compound of formula II (e.g. 2-fluoro-4-methylthiophenol) with the compound of formula III (e.g. O,O-dimethylthiophosphoric acid chloride), if necessary in the presence of an acid acceptor (e.g. anhydrous potassium carbonate), in a solvent (e.g. acetonitrile). The amount of the compound of formula III is preferably equimolar to the compound of formula II.
