To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element which is capable of achieving high conversion efficiency, excellent in bending resistance, and capable of coping with a coating process allowing inexpensive manufacturing, and to provide a method for manufacturing the organic photoelectric conversion element, and a solar cell using the same.
An organic photoelectric conversion element (10) includes: a transparent electrode (2) and a counter electrode (9) on a plastic substrate (1); and a photoelectric conversion layer (4) constituted of n-type semiconductor materials (5A, 5B) and p-type semiconductor materials (7A, 7B) between the transparent electrode (2) and the counter electrode (9). The photoelectric conversion layer contains composite fine particles containing a p-type semiconductor material and an n-type semiconductor material.
