To provide an organic photoreceptor which forms a precise electrostatic latent image with little blur, prevents image defects such as black spots, white voids, environment memory and image blur, and can ensure high image quality with good image density, sharpness and gradation, and to provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge.
The organic photoreceptor has, on a conductive support, a stacked structure consisting of: a charge generating layer containing a pigment of an addition product of titanyl phthalocyanine and a diol having hydroxyl groups on respective two adjacent carbon atoms; and one or more layers having a total thickness of 5 to 15 μm on the charge generating layer. The uppermost layer contains fluororesin particles.
