PURPOSE: To provide the org. photosensitive body which has good electrophotographic characteristics and excellent durability by constituting the photosensitive body which is a layer formed by applying a soln. contg. specific compds. on the outermost layer of a photoconductive layer and subjecting the coating to a heat treatment at a specific temp.
CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive body is constituted by laminating a charge generating layer 4 consisting of an org. material and a charge transfer layer 5a in this order on the conductive base body 1 to form a photoconductive layer 3a, having the charge transfer layer 5a as the outermost layer. The charge transfer layer 5a, which is the outermost layer, is the layer formed by applying the soln. contg. dodecanic acid, polymer with 2,6-dimethoxy-9,10-anthracene diol or dodecandioyldichloride, polymer with 2,6-dimethoxy-9,10-anthracene diol and heat treating the coating at ≤110°C. This anthracene resin dissolves only in the limited solvent and, therefore, the coating film has excellent solvent resistance to other solvents if the coating film is formed by dissolving the resin onto this solvent.
