Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an organic photovoltaic device (organic solar cell) which allows a larger area and a higher conversion rate. CONSTITUTION:Relating to an organic photovoltaic device in which laminated layers of an electron acceptive organic compound layer and an electron donative organic compound layer are provided between two electrodes which, at least one, are light-transmissive, multi-annular quinone compound having been replaced with halogen atom or multi-annular quinone containing unsaturated nitrogen within a ring is used as an electron acceptive organic compound.
