Abstract:

To obtain an organic polymer composite material containing an inorganic filler, having excellent dispersibility, moldability, dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties and heat-resistance and useful as building material, etc., while suppressing the viscosity increase in kneading by compounding an organic polymer with an inorganic filler and a specific silicon compound (or its hydrolyzate) and mixing and curing the components.

The objective organic polymer composite material containing inorganic filler can be produced by compounding an organic polymer such as a phenolic resin or an unsaturated polyester resin with an inorganic filler such as graphite and preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. of the inorganic filler) of a compound of formula (R is C4H9) or its hydrolyzate, mixing the components and curing the mixture.
