Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an organic polymer which comprises plural organic ring structures and a chain structure passing through the ring structures and can be expected to have a high level of properties.

A process for the production of an organic polymer having plural organic ring structures and a chain structure passing through the rings, comprises the polymerization step of polymerizing a monomer component comprising at least one monomer free from ionic functional groups releasing a metal ion, to from an organic polymer having ring structures arranged in a state restricted in mobility every prescribed constituent unit. The monomer component contains a monomer (M) which has both an organic ring structures and a chain moiety passing through the organic ring structure.
