SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing an organic solid electrolytic capacitor, which includes a process for forming a dielectric oxide film on the surface of an anode formed of a valve action metal such as Al, Ta and a process for forming a cathodic layer composed of a conductive polymer through electrolytic oxidative polymerization, the process for forming the cathodic layer by electrolytic oxidation polymerization includes a process for keeping the pH of the electrolyte within a predetermined range by adding an acid or an alkali to the electrolyte used for the electrolytic oxidation polymerization.
