Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the simple and stable production of an EL element by forming an organic thin film, which forms an organic ELECTROLUMINESCENCE(EL) element, out of one vapor deposition source by flash vapor deposition.
CONSTITUTION: The organic thin film of an EL element is made of a luminescent layer which has a positive hole injection transportation function and an electron injection and transportation function and consists of or more kinds of positive hole injection transportation materials, one or more kinds of electron injection transportation materials and one more kinds of luminescent materials. By growing this organic film by flash vapor deposition method from the same deposition source, high luminescent intensity and high luminescent efficiency can be gotten with low voltage, and an EL element favorable in stability in preservation can be produced easily and stably.
