Abstract:
To provide an organic waste treatment method capable of stably maintaining the concentration of solid matter in a substrate supplied to a fermentation tank at a concentration suitable for fermentation.SOLUTION: An organic waste treatment method for anaerobic fermentation treatment of an organic waste including solid matter as a substrate supplied in a fermentation tank includes: a first step of measuring a solid matter concentration of a supplied substrate to be supplied to the fermentation tank; a second step of setting a dilution rate of the supplied substrate in a manner that an in-tank solid matter concentration having undergone anaerobic fermentation treatment in the fermentation tank becomes a predetermined target value; and a third step of diluting the supplied substrate to the dilution rate; wherein the dilution rate is set based on the following mathematical formula: in-tank solid matter concentration=solid matter concentration of supplied substrate×(1-decomposition rate of supplied substrate), dilution rate=in-tank solid matter concentration÷target value of in-tank solid matter concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
