Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and equipment for organic wastes which easily yields good-quality compost. SOLUTION: This treatment equipment for the organic wastes has a solid- liquid separator 2 which subjects the organic wastes to a separation of solid from the liquid to solid matter and liquid matter, a biological reaction chamber 4 which subjects the liquid matter to biological reaction treatment and discharges excess sludge, carbonization equipment 7 which yields carbide by carbonizing the solid matter, a mixing device 6 which mixes the carbide and the excess sludge and composting equipment 8 which composts the mixture obtained in the mixing device 6. In such a case, the carbide obtained in the carbonization equipment 7 is mixed with the excess sludge obtained in the biological reaction chamber 4, by which the moisture regulation of the excess sludge is made possible and the mixture having the moisture suitable for composting is obtained prior to the composting. Since the solid matter is made into the carbide in composting, unnecessary materials, such as bedding of rice straws, etc., feed lees and swine hair, are no more included in the compost.
