Abstract:
An apparatus for treating organic waste water of this invention performs a biological treatment on the organic waste water in a first biological treatment tank 1 and performs a floatation separation treatment on the biological treatment water with no aggregation in a first floatation tank 2. A solid-liquid separation treatment is performed after performing the biological treatment on the separated water in the first floatation tank 2 in second biological treatment tanks 3 and 8. By applying the floatation separation treatment, the microorganisms could be separated and removed completely, even through the microorganisms in the treated water in the first biological treatment tank are separated with no aggregation. Since the coagulant is not used, the problems of increasing the loading of organic matters and precipitating the coagulant in a second biological treatment tank could be prevented and the disposition area and the aeration volume of the apparatus could be reduced.
