An organism adhesion preventing device includes an ultrasonic oscillation unit 16 for irradiating an adhered-material-to-be-removed surface 4a with ultrasonic waves, ultrasonic oscillation unit supporting parts 7, 8, 11, 12, 14 and 15 for supporting the ultrasonic oscillation unit movably in parallel to the adhered-material-to-be-removed surface, ultrasonic oscillation unit movement driving parts 17, 18, 19, 21 and 22 for causing the ultrasonic oscillation unit to scan the whole adhered-material-to-be-removed surface via the ultrasonic oscillation unit supporting parts, and a control device 25 for controlling the ultrasonic oscillation unit and the ultrasonic oscillation unit movement driving parts to be driven. The control device controls the ultrasonic oscillation unit movement driving parts so that the whole adhered-material-to-be-removed surface is scanned with the ultrasonic waves in the state that the aquatic organisms adhered to the adhered-material-to-be-removed surface are slimed and then algae are adhered thereto.
