Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an organism controller against slugs, snails and big mud snails, maintaining sustained insecticidal effects, by subjecting urease enzyme of cell and urea to enzymatic reaction on the surface of crops or soil. CONSTITUTION:In a controller against slugs and snails having eating damages on vegetables, fruits and flowers and big mud snails having eating damages on rice plants after rice transplanting, lotus roots, rushes and MIZUIMO, having immediate effects using enzymatic reaction between urease enzyme and urea, no phytotoxicity and excellent insecticidal effects, live cells are applied as they are without extracting the enzyme from the cells, preferably cultivated live cells of a bacterium and a urea composite are blended with an antifungal agent such as thiabendazole or benomyl, multiplication of fungi is suppressed and killing effects of the controller are extremely improved. If the controller is applied to bacteria once, effects are permanently continued only by scattering the urea composite.
