Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fast-curing organopolysiloxane capable of being stored stably over a long period of time and being cured rapidly which has an Si-C bond and shows a high selectivity toward β-1,2-adducts, by allowing a hydrogen polysiloxane and an acrylate group-containing compound to undergo hydrosilylation in the presence of a rhodium catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: This organopolysiloxane has at least one group represented by formula I and/or formula II and/or formula III at the terminal and/or side chain, and at least one acrylate group bonded to these groups via a crosslinking component. The organopolysiloxane is obtained by allowing equal amounts of an organopolysiloxane having at least one SiH group and a compound having at least two acrylate groups to undergo hydrosilylation at from 60 to 130°C in the presence of a rhodium catalyst. For the rhodium catalyst, e.g. RhCl(Ph3P)3 (wherein Ph is a phenyl group), RhCl3.3H2O, [RhCl(ethylene)2]2 or the like is preferable.
