NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula Ra1Rb2SiO(4-a-b)/2 {a and b are 1≤a≤3 and 0.001≤b≤2; R1 is 1-30C monofunctional hydrocarbon; R2 is -(CR23CR3(H)CR23)-R4 [R3 is H or 1-5C monofunctional saturated hydrocarbon; R4 is monofunctional organic group shown by formula I (R5 is R1 or halogen, alkoxy, carboxyl, etc.; d is 0-4; c is 0-3)]}.
EXAMPLE: A compound shown by formula II.
USE: An ultraviolet light absorber having excellent solubility in silicone oil.
PREPARATION: Phenol part of a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet light absorber shown by formula II is allyletherified under a basic condition, subjected to rearrangement reaction to give a derivative, which is subjected to addition reaction with an organohydrogen silane or organohydrogen polysiloxane by using a platinum compound or palladium compound as a catalyst.
