To provide an oriented molding in a cylindrical or box shape, in which desired characteristics in the whole or a part of the molding are enhanced in a thickness direction, and to provide a method for manufacturing the molding.

The oriented molding comprises a mixture of a liquid crystal polymer, a non-liquid crystal polymer and a filler, or a mixture of the liquid crystal polymer and a filler. The oriented molding is formed into a cylindrical or box shape and includes an oriented portion where at least either the molecular chains of the liquid crystal polymer or the filler is oriented. In the oriented portion, the molecular chain or the filler is oriented in the thickness direction of the oriented molding.
