To read image information and to perform copying operation after automatically inscribing specified printing on an original by providing a printing means on an original carrying path inside an original feeder.

The original G is separated and fed to an original platen glass 105 by an original feeding path H1 and a carrying belt 104, and image information is read from the original by a scanner device. By changing the carrying path to an original ejection path 107 by reversely driving the belt 104 and actuating a flapper 106, the original G is restored to an original tray 109 by a paper ejection roller 108. By providing the printing means 111 between a document placing part and the belt 104, that is, in space attained until the original reaches the glass 105 after it is fed, the image information is copied after inscribing the specified printing on the original. By feeding the original stopped once by a resist roller 103 again and working the printing means 111 after a fixed time, a page number is printed.
