Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an original image forming device by which an occupied part of a wide set space is reduced so as to effectively use the wide set space, whose outside appearance is matched with office environment, and which is safe and excellent in handleability.
CONSTITUTION: In this original image forming device, the light receiving surface of a photodetector or the photosensitive surface of a photosensitive body is irradiated with reflected light obtained by irradiating the image read surface of an original 2 pressured on a contact glass 1 by a pressure means 3 by a light source 8 so as to form an image by an image forming optical system. The device is provided with a top board 4 positioned above the pressure means and moved vertically linking with original image forming actions, and a supporting means 5 supporting the top board in parallel even while and before and after it moves vertically.
