The original position testing method for evaluating the chemical influence of a timbering M constructed on a test gateway GT includes: cylindrically drilling the test gateway GT from an inner space side to a rock mass E side; packing a cylindrical gap D generated by drilling with non-cement based material P; isolating a timbering MA and a rock ground E1 with a predetermined depth from a peripheral timbering MB and a peripheral rock ground E2; measuring a pore water pressure in the isolated rock ground E1; and collecting water running through the isolated rock ground E1. Thus, it is possible to control the influence of a change in geological environment such as the state of the peripheral rock E2 or groundwater. Therefore, it is possible to accurately evaluate the chemical influence of the timbering M constructed on the test gateway GT.
