PURPOSE: To improve operability and to shorten a necessary time by using a page turning-over mechanism which uses the operation of a couple of opposite rollers and providing plural counters where the exposure scan and copy of a discontinuous page are set.

CONSTITUTION: The pickup part of the page turning-over mechanism is moved in a direction CD by a motor 94 and in a direction AB by a motor 95, and a pickup hand 97 is stored in a direction A during copying operation and moved in a direction B when pages are turned over to move a fixed rubber roller 98 and a rubber roller 101 which is rotated by a motor 100 in both directions in the direction CD, thereby performing turning-over operation repeatedly. Turning-over control is carried out by a page bus counter where the number of pages to be blank-fed, a copy page turning-over page counter, and a slave CPU, and when respective turning-over numbers are set, the copying and blank feeding of pages corresponding to the set numbers are carried out continuously and automatically.
